Membership

Membership is currently open!

We are now accepting new members, with no waitlist.

Membership shares are $5,000 for the equity buy-in, plus a one-time $250 application fee.

Upon joining, you will meet at the airport with one of our board members for an introduction to the club, and to review our policies and procedures. After that, we have several experienced, club-approved flight instructors available for your initial aircraft checkout(s). Then you are free to reserve the airplanes using our online scheduling system and fly whenever you'd like.

Joining Us

Follow these steps to apply as a new member. If you have any questions or issues, check the FAQs or reach out to us through our contact page.

  1. Prepare your application files:
    • Complete the membership application and download as a PDF.
    • Obtain your 39-month motor vehicle record and download as a PDF. This requires registering on the AZ MVD website.
    • Take pictures of your FAA pilot certificate, front and back.
    • Take pictures of your FAA medical certificate, front and back.
      For BasicMed, use the Physician's Signature and Declaration page from your most recent CMEC instead
    • Take pictures of your most recent flight review logbook endorsements.
      For professional pilots, documentation of your equivalent air carrier recurrent training is also acceptable
  2. Sign up in Flight Circle:
    • Create an account using this referral link.
    • Reply to the auto-generated email to verify your email address.
    • Wait for another email from us via Flight Circle indicating approval of your association request with the Arizona Cloudbusters.
  3. Upload your application files from step #1 to our new member form in Flight Circle. Then electronically sign and submit the form.
  4. Send payment for the combined amount of the equity buy-in + application fee. The following payment methods are available.

After receiving payment and reviewing your application, we will reach out using the contact information provided in your application (typically via email).

This may take at least a few days. Our club is run by volunteer board members, most of who have regular jobs and responsibilities outside of the club. We understand you may be eager to get started, but please be patient.
